Depending on the time of year (usually August) the salmon can be seen in their hundreds leaping up these falls as they make their way upriver to spawn. It’s an amazing sight.
We continue on along the Killary and visit the age old craft of Curragh fishing (Summer time only) these ancient crafts have being around for hundreds of years and this dying tradition of salmon fishing is a real joy to watch.
