Day 1: The award winning town of Westport.
Your walking holiday begins in Westport with a short tour of the town before a transfer to your accommodation in the mountains.
Day 2: Partry - Glenawough – Erriff
Walking time about 5 hours + 544m
Today’s walk starts in front of your lodge. It will take you through pine forests over bog land and streams and to two Corrie lakes high in the mountains. You will see ruminants of trees thousands of years old and views over the plains of Erriff and beyond.
Day 3: Maumtrasna – Glennacolly
Walking time about 5.5 hours – 14km + 730m
Today you will walk the three Lugas. Luga Buidhe, Luga Gowlan, Luga Kippen. You will pass old oak woodland and the Erriff valley below and in the distance the Sheeffry
Mountains and Tawnard Lake. Sheep graze lazily on these hills and looking closely you can notice the different markings on their back for their different owners.
Day 4: Devils Mother
Walking time about 4 hours 15km + 682m
Your walk today is a nice end to your tour as it takes you to an ascent overlooking the Killary Fjord to the South and the Erriff Valley to the North, the scenery here is breathtaking.
You will descend near a horseshoe village beside a local pub where you can have a well deserved drink
Today you will be taken to see a Bronze Age cup and ring rock carvings at Bohea before your departure
4 night double occupancy.

Day 5, private tour to Standing Stones from the Bronze Age.
Day 1: transfer by bus to lodge
Day 2, 3, 4: transfer to start of walk and pick up at finish.
